Arrival to Zagreb and transfer to Trakoscan. After check in to hotel visit Trakoscan Castle and let the story start. After Breakfast meet your local guide and head towards Varazdin. This City of Baroque or Vienna in small as people call it, used to be the capital of Croatia in the past. Enter this magical world of beautiful palaces and parks. The old town fortification, the central part of the town, numerous museums, galleries and collections as well as the Varazdin cemetery, protected as a horticultural monument, represent the main tourist attractions. Visit City museum . Till October 2016 Varazdin is hosting special exhibition “Varazdin under Habsburgs Crown”, with more then 350 pieces. This exhibit shows the impact of Habsburgs rulers and their rule on Varazdin and area. If you will be lucky you will have a chance also to enter one of many private fairytale gardens. Lunch in one of the traditional local restaurants in Varazdin. After lunch your journey will take you to Ludbreg also known as “ Centrum mundi” or “The Centre of the Earth”. According to an ancient Roman legend, from Ludbreg were drown imaginative Earth circles which expand concentrically from Ludbreg, and position all of largest European cities on these lines.
This town of legends, is also known as 500 years old sanctuary, established in honor of the Most Precious Blood of Christ, which miraculously appeared in the chapel of St. Cross of castle Batthyany. People of Ludbreg as hardworking wine makers proudly present to visitors - famous Ludbreg wine. Only here in the center of the world, every first of April their wine runs from the town fountain.

After breakfast depart for northwest part of Gorski Kotar to village Fuzine. Situated 730m above sea-level, surrounded by mountains, by the centenary evergreen woods and by beautiful lakes, this small village proud itself with long tourism tradition. Visit famous cave Vrelo, frequently called “the small Postojna”. It is dated to 3.5 to 4 million years ago. Although its length amounts only to 300m, its beauty is exceptional and it is rich in cave formations. Water gives the cave its particular value - at app. 50m there is a beautiful mountain spring, lake and chasm, which make the cave even more attractive. Cave is completely adapted for visitors, has received new lighting and a walking trail with a small bridge. Due to the mild terrain without steps it can be visited by guests of all ages. From centre of Fuzne take a tourist train to lakes Bajer and Lepenica and back. These accumulation lakes very attractive are popular for hiking and picnics.

First on the way is Hum, the smallest town in the world, known also as The Gates of the World. Hum was first mentioned in 1102.And today it has 20 inhabitants. Town walls protected the town from frequent intrusions of the Venetians and the Turks. On the west town gates are two Glagolitic writings.
Recently Hum has been promoted as the Town of biska. Biska is mistletoe brandy whose original recipe comes from Hum. Your journey continues to Roc, town founded in ancient history. It started as an Illyrian settlement, then became a Roman castrum surrounded by numerous small settlements. Today's outlook of Roc dates from the times of Venetian rule. Roc is famous for its small churches and long tradition of making frescoes. As a highlight of this day visit one fresco painting workshop in Roc, unique atelier of this kind in Croatia. You will be welcomed by an artist dressed as a medieval painter, he will briefly tell you the story of long history of wall panting in Istria and present making of frescoes.
If you feel inspired you can try your skills in fresco painting. Head towards Buzet, City of Truffles. According to some views, the white truffle of Istria is as good as the most famous white truffle from the Italian region of Alba. But we will let you decide this on your own. Besides viewing the most interesting cultural sights of this enchanting town, you will have a chance to taste these famous truffles from Buzet. In one of the oldest family owned truffle hunting company your will be offer not only truffles and other local products, but you will also learn all about this gastronomic delight.
After this you continue to Motovun, the most famous and attractive Istrian medieval town. This captivating hilltop town is one of the characteristic symbols of the Istrian interior. From Motovun hill enjoy breath taking view on surrounding vineyards. After Motovun drive to Hear of Istria, to town Pazin.
Pazin is the administrative center of Istria County, but also famous for its cultural and natural heritage.
The fascinating picture of the medieval Castle of Pazin (Kaštel), situated above the 130 m cliff where the Pazincica River flows into the Pazin Pit, inspired the renowned French writer Jules Verne as the setting for part of his novel “Mathias Sandorf”, published in 1885.
